Community Forum to Support Designating the Arcata L Street Pathway as a Linear Park: Monday October 17, 5:00 to 7:30 at the Arcata Playhouse

The Arcata L Street Pathway passes through the corridor between Alliance Rd to the North and Samoa Blvd to the South. It serves as the non-motorized route between CPH, neighborhoods and parks to the North and the trail network of the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary to the South. The Corridor is a segment of the Humboldt Bay Trail, a primary connector of the California Coastal Trail and will be the welcome mat to the City of Arcata’s for the Great Redwood Trail.

The City of Arcata is proposing to expand L Street into a through road and paving over open spaces of the Corridor, and permanently changing the character of the L Street Pathway.

Join us for a community grassroots forum discuss the vision for the L Street Corridor and campaign to promote its permanent designation as a Linear Park.

Monday October 17 5:00 to 7;30
